SUMMARY: Shipping and Receiving Lead will perform shipping and receiving duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Lead will pull and organize orders according to product ordered and prepare the orders for shipping. Hours will vary based upon production needs and are not guaranteed but are usually Monday – Friday between 5am – 10pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive incoming ingredients from suppliers and compare purchase order(s) to a bill of lading to ensure all ingredients are received.
- Keep a running list of raw material inventory and place weekly PO’s . Manage finished product inventories and maintain par levels.
- Manage lot tracking for incoming and outgoing ingredients. Deliver required ingredients to bakery departments based on baking need and production schedule.
- Able to interpret customer orders and fill transport racks or pallets as per order. Properly identify products and create pallet labels for orders.
- Organize warehouse and maintain all compliance standards including allergen separation.
- Prepare shipping documents and manage outbound shipments to customers.
- Physically shuttle transport racks, basket stacks, and product to designated staging areas for eventual loading into transport trucks.
- Assist in the loading of transport trucks.
- Must be able to constantly stand and walk on concrete, metal, or wood surfaces, including transport trailer beds.
- Frequent pushing and pulling of plastic tray stacks, transport racks, pallet jacks, and carts is necessary.
- Additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school education or equivalent. Previous experience in similar production line duties at a large commercial or artisan bakery is preferred. Work experience in other similar industrial, manufacturing or a production-line environment may substitute.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regular bending and lifting up to 50lbs. Occasional bending and lifting up to 80lbs. Constant handling and grasping of bakery product cases, trays, transport racks, carts. Ability to bend, twist, grasp, reach, push, pull, and use repetitive motion as required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Working in a bakery with daily exposure to production activities and equipment used in bakery department. Willingness to work the hours needed to complete tasks.
EQUIPMENT OPERATED: Forklift, Powered Pallet Jacks, Manual Pallet Jacks, Baking utensils. Mixers. Ovens. Weight scales. Sheeter. Dough rounder. Dough divider. Pressure washer. Bread slicer. Proofer. Spraying systems. Any additional equipment as required.
SUMMARY: The Delivery Driver is responsible for pickup and delivery of projects/orders and materials from vendors and customers in a timely and safe manner. The driver coordinates workload accomplishment to meet customer requirements while achieving optimum productivity. Works closely with other company personnel to meet or exceed customer expectations. The Delivery Driver is a main interface with our customers and must provide a competent and personable representation of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guarantee satisfaction and value for company’s customers.
- Must have professional communication skills to manage relationship between production and customer.
- Manage proper scheduling of orders and routes to ensure sales/customer objectives are met.
- Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals.
- Participate as a key player in the Production Team by supporting operations as needed.
- Remain flexible to restructure schedule as needed.
- Load and unload delivery goods and perform on site customer service and new sales development with store managers and receivers.
- Comply with all motor vehicle laws while traveling and OSHA and HACCP safety requirements for food products.
- Maintain vehicle in good working condition and in clean and fueled readiness condition.
- Conduct a daily safety check of vehicle prior to operation; a minimum of lights, oil, brakes, water levels and fuel level checked. Inform supervisor of any vehicle problems.
- Properly handle delivery records and obtain required signature on receipt/invoices for all deliveries.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school or GED equivalent. Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics pertinent to the role. Must be able to read and write English.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Possess a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle record.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: . Familiar with surrounding area and be able to read a map/guide. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws. Requires knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation. Must be able to safely maneuver vehicles, forward and backward, and in tight quarters. Must have a positive and upbeat attitude, even in heavy traffic and unusual driving conditions. Must be hard working and self-motivated. Must have excellent verbal and communication skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 lbs. Physically able to bend, stoop, sit, stand and walk throughout the day.
WORK ENVIRONMENT and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Variable work environment. Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors with varying environmental conditions. Exposure to the environments of customer and vendor facilities. Work area may have fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Noise level is usually moderate to loud. Fast-paced environment, subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.

Work requires initiative and judgment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uses weights and measures to follow and properly recommend adjustments to formulas.
- Prepares and bakes all bakery items to fill orders following standardized recipes.
- Follows a bake schedule and correctly estimates baking needs, requisitions adequate supplies, inventories supply, and keeps records of products made and used.
- Ensures mixing area and equipment are maintained according to proper health and sanitation standards.
- Assists in developing and testing recipes.
- Able to help out in all areas of production and packaging as needed to fill minimum hours and finish big orders
- Strong work ethic to lead pace of production and ensure limited downtime in downstream operations.
- Other duties as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school education or equivalent. Two to five years experience in bakery field. Two years’ experience in a retail environment preferred.

SUMMARY: Produce quality bakery products to ensure customer requirements are met and build customer loyalty by providing exemplary customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tables, utensils, floor (to ensure safety), and sanitation regulations are met.
- Assemble necessary baking ingredients to prepare for baking operation.
- Prepare bakery products according to established recipes.
- Perform bench work according to established procedures.
- Bake prepared product using appropriate time and temperature as specified by recipe.
- Insert products into proof box, set controls, and close door to ensure proper size and shape of product.
- Operate Ovens and learn proper bake parameters, artisanal cuts for appearance, and manage flow of product to ensure bakes are even and product quality is consistent.
- Insert products into and retrieve products from the freezer to preserve freshness.
- Follow proper procedures to ensure bakery meets out-of-stock percentage goals.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Must be 18 years old.
